Tulsequah Chief Mine
Copper, Zinc, Gold, Silver, and Lead

The Tulsequah Chief Mine is a historic copper, zinc, gold, silver, and lead mine which Armex plans to restart. The site is located on the Tulsequah river, about 100km South of Atlin BC and 60Km East of Juneau Alaska. The mine was operated from 1951-1957 by Cominco (now Teck Resources).

As of 2023 Armex is the secured creditor of the project, holding a first charge over all of the assets and undertaking of Chieftain Metals, the current legal owner of the Mine.

The mine has a proven/probable reserve of approx. 4.4M tonnes containing economic quantities of gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead. The project is supported by a bankable feasibility study recommending production.

Armex is preparing detailed plans to bring the mine into full production and is working with multiple parties to remediate environmental issues caused by prior mining.
