The Yankee Dundee project is located in Southern British Columbia near the town of Ymir and is a historic high grade gold and silver mine.  Average production grade of ore from the main Yankee Girl Vein was 13.5g/ton gold and 77.6g/ton silver. A small amount of ore was also taken from the Dundee Vein averaging 183.8g/ton gold and 90.36g/ton silver.

Mineralization occurs in near vertical (70deg dipping) meso-thermal shears (veins) averaging 3-5m in width and extending laterally and to depth.  Prior surface drilling completed in 2009 confirms the deposit extends to the west of the historic ore body and is accessible through existing underground workings.  A follow-up underground drill program is planned to delineate a measured resource in the areas identified by surface drilling as well as identify new sources of gold mineralization.

There are excellent opportunities on the property for discovery or expansion.  Prior exploration has shown the Yankee Dundee Vein extends laterally and to depth.  The Yankee Girl Vein is only one of six similar mineralized structures (all gold bearing, near vertical, 3-5 m wide and about 150m apart) which have been encountered by drilling, but which remain unexplored.  The project has extensive underground workings, is less than 2 kilometers away from a paved highway and has excellent access to grid electric power and other services.  In addition, there is an estimated 100,000+ tonnes of gold bearing material on surface left over from prior mining which can be used to generate early cash flow prior to re-starting underground mining.
